The bicycle footrests are fitted with anti-slip grips for extra safety, though be sure to remind your child that their feet are close to the wheel when in motion. If your rear seat is vacant, then you can simply fold them back up.
Check whether your frame has a tube diameter of 12 to 27 millimetres. This is a requirement for fitting. Use a size 5 hexagonal key to tighten the nuts.
